Emerging Digital Technologies

The Emerging Digital Technologies track is focused academic and practitioner-oriented research examining the value and implications of leveraging emerging tech in the workplace and consumer segment. Research that addresses digital strategies, leadership of digital initiatives, customer engagement, or workplace environment and organizational redesign are all appropriate. We welcome submissions across all industries and functional areas of business, including (but not limited to) accounting, education, fintech, government, healthcare, and supply chain.

  • Artificial intelligence (including subdomains machine learning, deep learning, etc.)

  • Blockchain and blockchain-inspired projects

  • E-procurement
  • Intelligent appliances and assistants in the workplace
  • Internet of things (including IIoT)
  • Robots used for last mile delivery
  • Sensors and automatic identification
  • Smart clothing and garments
  • Wearables and smart mobile technology
