53rd Annual Conference

November 19 – 21, 2022 | Houston, TX
Resiliency and Adaptability for a Better Global Future

Welcome from the 2022 Conference Chair

The 53rd Annual Conference of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) is themed Resiliency and Adaptability for a Better Global Future, a phrase that perfectly captures the bold professional renewal that we are showcasing and honoring at this year’s long-awaited, in-person gathering.

We look forward to welcoming you to Houston and the 2022 DSI Annual Conference. It will be a great opportunity to once again see familiar faces and to meet DSI’s many new members. We look forward to sharing thought-provoking conversations, making new connections, exploring exciting innovations in research and practice, and in general, opening up to the future of the decision sciences. After the challenges of the past two years, it is exciting and highly energizing to see the extraordinary work our members have launched across diverse regions, disciplines and industries.

This year’s program highlights are too numerous to list here, but a few of them include:

KeynoteWhen Failure is Not an Option: A Chat with NASA Decision Makers with NASA Flight Director Scott Stover and a NASA Astronaut. Taking place Saturday at 2:50 pm.
Consortia – Three consortiums offered for all stages of personal development:  Doctoral, Clinical Professor Career and Faculty Development. Taking place Saturday and Sunday.
Workshops – A variety of educational and enlightening sessions will be found throughout the three days.
Awards – Institutional and conference awards will distributed.
Networking – Of course, plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues.

I look forward to seeing you in Houston in November!
